Our mission
We are the Connect Forest People Network (Rede Conexão Povos da Floresta). Our mission is to connect forest peoples’ communities in Brazil quickly, safely, and consciously.
By the end of the decade, we want to ensure digital inclusion and access to public policies for 1 million people in 9,000 communities, starting with the Amazon and moving on to other digitally isolated regions.
We connect to strengthen their rights, autonomy, and the protection of the territories that guarantee climate, water, biodiversity, and life.
Connecting…

Who are the forest peoples?
The forest peoples include the indigenous, quilombola, extractivist, and riverside communities in all biomes and their ecosystems, including forests, fields, and waters. Their ways of life keep the forest standing and sustain territories that are essential for the climate, culture, and future of the planet.
Connecting these peoples means strengthening their rights and protecting their territories.
Our pillars of action
Infrastructure
We install connectivity and power kits designed for communities.
Community control
The community manages its own network with autonomy, technology, and collective rules.
Digital inclusion and empowerment
Health, education, entrepreneurship, culture, energy, and territorial protection programs expand the use of connectivity.
Our programs
To ensure conscious and safe digital inclusion and empowerment in communities, we have organized ourselves into seven programs that strengthen community life through different actions, making the internet a tool for social transformation.
